About Packer College

WHO WE ARE

The Diocesan Seminary of the Anglican Network in Canada

Packer College is the diocesan seminary of the Anglican Network in Canada, a diocese of the Anglican Church in North America. It is a residential and online school for the training of Anglican priests/presbyters, located in St. John's, Newfoundland.

The purpose of the residential program is to provide students with an immersive seminary experience where they will engage in divinity studies within the rhythm of Anglican prayer and worship, as set out in the Book of Common Prayer. Here students will be taught the word of God and our received Christian heritage by professors committed to the faith, using a curriculum approved by Dr. J. I. Packer.

Students in residence will live, study, and work together as they prepare for a life of sacrificial ministry by humility, faith, and reason.

Our courses and programs are open to Anglican and non-Anglican students alike.

"Every time we mention God we become theologians. The only question is whether we will be good ones or bad ones."
