Academics

OVERVIEW

The mission of all our programs is to train leaders to build biblically faithful, gospel sharing, Anglican churches.

FOUR CLASSICAL AREAS

OF DIVINITY

Packer College programs are based on a traditional, full seminary curriculum, with courses in the four classic areas of

divinity:

  • Holy Scripture
  • Sacred Theology
  • Church History
  • Pastoral Studies

FLEXIBLE PROGRAM

STRUCTURE

Students can study to three levels: Certificate, Diploma, and Licentiate, and

all the courses can be taken either

full-time or part-time, on campus or

online. Courses taken for the Certificate

and Diploma can be applied toward the Licentiate.

PREPARING FOR

ORDINATION

Packer College is not an ordaining body,

but the core curriculum consists of thirty courses and has been approved as

meeting the requirements for Holy Orders

in the Anglican Church of North America

and the Anglican Network in Canada diocese.

STUDY FOR CREDIT

OR AUDIT

All courses may be taken for credit, or audited. All courses are comprised of at least 30 hours of class time. Semester courses follow a pattern of one three-hour class per week, while January/Summer courses compress class times into a shorter period by having several class

days per week.
